Ah yes, the rallying cry of the self-appointed gatekeepers of heaven: “There’s no such thing as a gay Christian.” It’s said with all the smug confidence of people who truly believe they’re the arbiters of God’s Kingdom. They imagine they’re defending righteousness, but in reality, they are waving around an empty label like it’s a divine passport. And they don’t even realize how ridiculous it sounds. So let us be clear from the outset: this statement, in its entirety, is meaningless. It’s a hollow, man-made assertion propped up by centuries of mistranslation, indoctrination, and arrogance. But since they seem so fond of building their identities on crumbling foundations, let’s dismantle those foundations one devastating blow at a time.

First, let us address the golden calf they call Christian. Do these people even know what the word means or where it came from? Of course not. They don’t question it because they’ve been conditioned to equate it with divine legitimacy. But the word Christianos—from which we get “Christian”—was not given by God. It was not a sacred title Yehoshua bestowed on His followers. It was a word used by outsiders as a form of mockery and categorization. That’s right. The term they wield as a weapon of exclusion was never a covenantal identity; it was a man-made label that Yehoshua Himself never uttered. Yet these same people cling to it as though it carries the weight of heaven’s seal. That is the first devastating blow: their entire argument hinges on a word that God never breathed into existence.

Now let us deal with the elephant in the room: Christianity as a religion. They act as if Christianity is the pristine faith God set out to build, as if the institutionalized church was His vision all along. History—and Scripture—tell a very different story. Christianity as they know it was birthed out of Roman Catholic imperialism, political maneuvering, and pagan syncretism. It was designed to control populations, not to liberate souls. From the earliest days of Constantine’s empire, the church was fused with state power, and the teachings of Yehoshua were twisted to fit the needs of rulers. Over time, it became a system riddled with corruption: legalism, indoctrination, fear-based control, and, yes, centuries of systemic child molestation and cover-ups. That’s the brand they’re so proud to defend. And they dare to use it as a standard of holiness? The irony is staggering.

This brings us to the statement itself: “There’s no such thing as a gay Christian.” Once you understand the first two blows, the statement collapses under its own weight. The label Christian is spiritually irrelevant. It has no salvific power, no covenantal authority, and no divine origin. So when they say that gay people cannot be Christians, all they’re really saying is that gay people cannot belong to a man-made religion Yehoshua never validated. And you know what? That’s not even an insult. It’s a backhanded compliment. Who in their right mind would want to be identified as part of a brand so thoroughly compromised by human corruption? They’re essentially guarding the gates of a counterfeit kingdom. Congratulations, you’re the self-appointed security detail of a brand God never endorsed.

But of course, their entire condemnation is built on faulty theology about same-sex attraction. They’ve cherry-picked mistranslations and weaponized them without ever bothering to understand the text. Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13? Those passages address exploitative power dynamics and ritualistic acts tied to idolatry, not loving, consensual same-sex relationships. Paul’s term arsenokoitai? It carried economic and abusive connotations, not a blanket condemnation of orientation. But why would they care about context? Context doesn’t fit their narrative. It’s much easier to reduce people to “abominations” than to confront the possibility that they’ve been wrong all along.

And here’s the truth they absolutely cannot handle: everyone is infected by sin. Every single person is born with the same bloodline infection that we’ve exposed in our deep dives. If same-sex attraction disqualifies someone from belonging to God, then so does heterosexual lust, pride, greed, gluttony, and the self-righteous arrogance that drips from their mouths every time they say “there’s no such thing as a gay Christian.” The cure is not found in their performance-based checklist. It is found in the blood of Yehoshua the Messiah. But they don’t understand that because they don’t understand the gospel. They think salvation is about moral superiority when it’s actually about divine substitution.

And what about their fruit? Yehoshua told us we would know His people by their fruit. What fruit does this statement bear? It drives LGBTQ+ people into despair. It pushes them away from God. It fuels suicide rates. It alienates sons and daughters whom Yehoshua died to redeem. That is the fruit of their theology. That is the legacy of their exclusion. And it reeks of death. The irony is that they believe they are defending the Kingdom, but their actions reveal that they are functioning as enemies of it. They are anti-Christ in function, no different from the vipers Yehoshua Himself rebuked in Matthew 23. They stand behind a man-made brand and dare to call it holy, all while producing fruit that testifies against them.

Let us be absolutely clear: the Kingdom was never about the label Christian. Yehoshua came to raise up sons and daughters—Pneumocrysts filled with His Spirit—not consumers of a Greco-Roman brand. His Kingdom is not branded, not trademarked, and not policed by self-righteous Pharisees who mistake their indoctrination for truth. So when they bar the gates and tell gay people they cannot enter, it’s laughable. They don’t own the gates. They don’t own the Kingdom. They’ve confused their dying institution for the eternal reign of God, and in the process, they’ve revealed just how deceived they are.

And now we conclude, and we will not mince words. In their current state, they are hellbound. They are just another log on the fire. They have a date with the lake of fire, and God’s judgment will be severe. The Holy Spirit does not dwell inside them because they do not love one another as Yehoshua commanded. They are the counterfeit. They are the weeds among the wheat. When they stand before Yehoshua, He will not applaud their theological gatekeeping. He will not commend their exclusionary statements. He will look them in the eye and say, “Depart from Me, for I never knew you.” They are not saved, because salvation is not about adopting the label Christian; it’s about being indwelt by the living God. And He is nowhere near their hearts.

So let them keep parroting their hollow line, “there’s no such thing as a gay Christian,” as if it has any power. In reality, they are the ones who should tremble. They are the ones on the outside of the Kingdom they pretend to defend. They are the ones Yehoshua described when He said many will come to Him on that day, boasting of their works, only to be cast out. They are the hellbound. And unless they repent, they will spend eternity with the god they truly serve: themselves.
